My funding proposal to create a photo narrative to document the struggles of Fukushima orphans has been approved!
It will be titled "A Day in Life of a Fukushima" and will focus on the lives of the children who live heavily restricted lives in the shadow of the disabled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. I have met and worked with many of the children in this home through my internship with the Japan America Society of Southern California and look forward to the opportunity to share their story.
It will be a long process to organize and plan for this project, but I will be sure to document my progress on this blog and keep you all up to date!
