I am very sorry for not making any posts lately. The past few weeks have been filled with many events. Here is what I have been up to this past month.
1: Volunteering in Tohoku
One of my main goals for my year abroad in Japan was to volunteer in Tohoku. As it has turned out, I have become actively involved with Tohoku relief groups Youth for 3.11 and Team Asunaro and have been regularly traveling up to Tohoku for various volunteer programs. On a recent trip I started gathering video footage of our volunteer efforts and have made an informal video introduction to the Youth for 3.11 X Team Asunaro program to Ishinomaki.
(Keep in mind this is an informal video, I am working on creating a formal video in the near future.)

2: A Trip to Izu
The sakura (cherry blossoms) were also in bloom during this trip, look forward to the pictures! |
3: A Week-Long Trip to Okinawa
I just got back from a week long trip to Okinawa with the ICU Cycling Club. I will be creating a video for this trip soon! |
During this trip I was able to live out a lifelong dream of mine where I was able to visit the Churaumi Aquarium and see the Kuroshio Sea Exhibit. Here is a video that I shot to help me remember the occasion.
